About This Journey

Overview

Similipal is Odisha's crown jewel of biodiversity — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Project Tiger sanctuary sprawling across 2,750 sq km of sal forests, grasslands, and river valleys.

Barehipani Falls (399m) and Joranda Falls (181m) are among the most dramatic waterfalls in South Asia. Jeep safaris reveal Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, elephants, gaur, and the ultra-rare melanistic black leopard.
